I am a 1950 graduate of Indianola High School, Indianola Oklahoma. My freshman year, Laverne was my commerce (typing) teacher and what I learned in her class helped me so much in my business career. Her sister Estoline Fox and husband Jimmy Fox were also teachers at Indianola. I used to baby-sit their son, Tony Fox when I was in junior high. Lots of wonderful memories of Laverne and her sister Estoline. May God's Blessings be on the families of Laverne and Estoline. Evalena

This special lady will truly be missed by all. She is one of the reasons that I did not quit going to church this past year. I wanted to see her bright face and hear her encouraging words. I believe God knows how she touched so many lives! She will always be remembered by my family, especially my granddaughter Gracie Eggleston. She loved to give Laverne hugs on Sunday!!!

We would like for you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. LaVerne was such a sweet lady. She was always so gracious and cordial, and a pleasure to be around. We know that you will miss her greatly.

Beverly, I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Your mother has gone home to heaven. She was a good Christian lady and she will be missed. May God take you under his care and help you find peace. In Christian love, Cindy Davenport Beck
