In Loving Memory Of

Gail B. Wilson

Gail B. Wilson, of Moore, was born April 10, 1947 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to James Wilson and Linnie Danner Wilson.

He passed away May 26, 2008 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years.

Gail grew up in the Paoli area. Following graduating high school he entered a tour of duty in the United States Navy earning the rank of MM3/E4 and is a Veteran of the Viet Nam War.

In August 1967 he was married to Mary M. Davis in Paoli and moved to Oklahoma City where he has lived since 1968. Gail was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed hunting in the Jack Fork Mountains as well as the Paoli area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Linnie Wilson.

Surviving family include his wife, Mary of the home; two sons, Brian Wilson of Altus and James Wilson of Houston, Texas; one granddaughter, Shelby Wilson; two brothers, Troy Wilson of Paoli and Eddie Wilson of Carnegie; four sisters, Juanita Zellner and Pat Spencer, both of Pauls Valley; Katherine Nix of Moore; and Margaret Edwards of Tennessee.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Cancer Fund at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City. (OMRF envelopes are available at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home) or to your favorite Wildlife Conservation program.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 11:30 am at the Paoli Cemetery officiated by Roy Shave. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Just a note to let you know I am thinking of you all.  I am glad mom got to come home to say good bye.  Take care and may God Bless you all.
