Jessie Marie
Whitefield
Jessie Marie Whitefield, of Maysville, was born March
20, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Henry Carrole Brumley and Jessie
Bell Jackson Whitefield.
She passed away April 5, 2008 at Maysville, Oklahoma at the age of 65
years.
Marie worked as Caregiver for many years. She was also a Song Writer and
a Poet. She was a member of Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God
Church. Garvin County has been her home all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ray Whitefield on June
19, 1973; her brother, Larry David Brumley and her sister, Carol Ann
Stratton.
Surviving family include her son, Michael Ray Whitefield and
daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ann Whitefield; three grandchildren, Christopher
Ray Whitefield, Danielle Amber Alviso and Shawn T. Jones; eight
great-grandchildren, two nieces, Michelle Wollenberg and Susan Renae
Reed; two great nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives
and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Charles Ledbetter.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
