In Loving Memory Of

Pearl F. Votava

Pearl Votava, of Pauls Valley was born January 7, 1912 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Luther "Luke" and Savanna (Smith) Helms.

She entered eternal life March 13, 2009 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 97 years.

She was married to Edward Herman Votava in Payson, Oklahoma on October 10, 1929. She and her husband moved from the Payson area in 1930 to make Pauls Valley their home.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward, in 1985; her daughter, Marie Smith, in 1987; and son-in-law, Dewey Smith, in 2001.

Surviving family include her granddaughter, Diana Romine of Oklahoma City; a brother, Carl Helms of California; and a sister, Esta Nicely of Meeker.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
