Leonard "Buddy"
Thompson
Leonard "Buddy" Thompson, of Pauls Valley, was born
August 23, 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Virgil and Rosie Thompson.
He passed away August 22, 2009 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of
71 years.
He worked many years as a Ranch hand as well as in the Landfill for the
Foster Family. This area has been his home all of his life.
Buddy was preceded in death y his parents, Vigil and Rosie Thompson; a
son, Jerry Thompson and two small children; a brother, Raymond Thompson
and an infant sister.
Surviving family include a special friend and caretaker, Linda
Rodriguez; a son, Paul Thompson from Pauls Valley; a daughter, Sherry
Long of Catoosa; step-daughters, Charm Taylor, Shawnetta Taylor and
Carrisa Taylor, of Pauls Valley; his sisters, Edith, of Texas and
Juanice Davis and her husband, Bob, of Texas; numerous grandchildren
and, great-grandchildren, as well as his extended family at the, Pauls
Valley Care Center.
The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to all the
staff at the Pauls Valley Care Center for their care while Buddy was a
resident there.
Services for cremation were with the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in
Pauls Valley. |
