In Loving Memory Of

Billie Tennison

Billie Tennison, of Pauls Valley was born October 13, 1931 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to George and Zola (Hunt) Onstott.

She passed away January 24, 2009 at Norman, Oklahoma at the young age of 77 years.

Billie Onstott was married to L. D. "Slick" Tennison in Gainesville, Texas on April 5, 1951. She made her home in Pauls Valley for most of her life and retired from the Pauls Valley School System.

Her spirit is carried on in the lessons she taught her kids and grandkids; sewing, crochet, quilting, playing cards, fishing, camping and cooking. Her hobbies also included African Violet gardening, reading, computer bejewled game and computer spider solitaire, and traveling to Tunica.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Zola Onstott; brothers, Harold Onstott and Emmett Onstott; and sisters, Bobbi Witt and Mildred Mooney.

Surviving family include her husband of almost 58 years, L. D. "Slick" Tennison; her son, Gary Tennison and Pam Toth; her daughters, Debbie Jones, Tawana Ragland and her husband, Dean, and Donna Jackson; 7 grandchildren, Shelly, Sarah, Carey, Amanda, Kimberly, AnnDrea and William Garrett; 4 great-grandchildren, Ean, Marcus, Madison and Kinsley; a sister, Inez Pope and a brother, Milton Onstott as well as the Tennison and Onstott, extended family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. Tim Bowen. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Just wanted to let you know how sorry we are for the loss.  It is
never easy to go through this.  You will always have your wonderful
memories of her.  Sounds like she had a good life and plenty of family
to share it with.   Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
