Joy M. Suchy

Joy Mae Suchy, of Elmore City was born April 12, 1934 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Elbert L. and Helen (Mabry) Miller.

She passed away January 21, 2005 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Mrs. Suchy was a homemaker and a loving mother. She had lived in Pauls Valley most of her life until moving to Elmore City where she has made her home for the past 3 years. Her faith led her to worship in the Pentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death include her sisters, LaVesta Knight and Patricia Sorrells; as well a niece, Trisha Arnold.

Surviving family include her children, Linda Williams of Elmore City, Sue Green of Pauls Valley, Judy Holloway of Purcell and Danny Farris of Pauls Valley; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews including, Lonnie Knight of Pauls Valley who was like a son to her. He led the family in many special prayers through Mrs. Suchy's illness.
