In Loving Memory Of
David Thomas Stubbs
David Thomas Stubbs, of Pauls Valley was born March 8,
1940 in Dallas, Texas to Alonzo Harold Stubbs and Goldie Mae Harris
Stubbs. He passed away April 30, 2008 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the
age of 68 years.
David was married to Ida Kathryn Gould in Dallas, Texas on March 12,
1966. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Britton, Oklahoma and for
19 years he was Superintendent of Lake Hefner Golf Course prior to
moving to Pauls Valley in 1994. Since that time he has been the Director
of Grounds for the City of Pauls Valley. His family was the most
important part of his life, especially his grandchildren. He will be
greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Goldie Stubbs and a
brother, Harold Stubbs.
Surviving family include his wife, Ida, of the home; 5 children, Teresa
Randall of Hope, Arkansas; David Scott Stubbs of Dallas, Texas; Kathy
Conley of Pauls Valley; Linda Lopez of Pauls Valley and Julie Davis of
Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Mike Stubbs of Glendale, California and Don
and his wife, Rachelle Stubbs of Alpharetta, Georgia; 2 sisters, Linda
and her husband, Gene Gentry of Greenville, Texas and Aline Waymire of
Quinlan, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 10:30 am at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
