To my loving family who I send my love to an apology for not being there. I will miss grandpa very much. I wrote a poem in Memory of him.

By myself I wonder aimlessly in a barren abyss of nothingness,
no stripe or even a light of hope may wonder here.
You follow the same wore down beaten path which
seems to come alive with sorrowful memories.
There's a light, a sunray; burst of energy so strange
yet like a magnet drawing you closer and closer.
You find this as an encouraging gesture to what may lie beyond.
It pulls you in and forever the path is no longer filled with
tears and pain but love and laughter built for my here after.

Love you all Melanie Turcotte
