In Loving Memory Of
Norma Olene Stalcup
Norma Olene Stalcup, of Pauls Valley was born July 15, 1923 in Sadler,
Texas to John Bennett and Norma Natta Ray.
She passed away May 16, 2009 at Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 85
years.
On January 18, 1946 she was married to Erwin D. C. "Dude" Stalcup in
Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She worked as a Caregiver at the Pauls Valley
State School (now, S. O. R. C.). She attended the Trinity Baptist
Church. Pauls Valley has been her home for most of her life.
Olene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erwin D. C.
"Dude" Stalcup on July 5, 1993; a daughter, Susan Stalcup Shepard on
February 21, 2009; five sisters and four brothers.
Surviving family include her sons, D. C. Stalcup and his wife, Rebecca,
of Midwest City; and Ronald Ray Stalcup of Ft. Worth, Texas; 5
grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Summers of
Melissa, Texas and Loretta Bowden, of Sherman, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Stephen Reid.
Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
