Dear Scripsick Family,
Although I did not know your loved one, Bryan, I would like to extend my sympathy and heartfelt thanks for his ultimate sacrifice for our country.  I can truly say that I know what you are going through. My brother, Sgt. Buddy Hughie was serving with the 180th in Afghanistan when he was killed on February 19, 2007. I wish I had some magic words that will make the pain easier, but there are no words. You will think of Bryan daily, you will feel pride daily, and you will feel pain daily. As time passes you will find it easier to cope with the lose of Bryan, but the pride and pain will always be present. I am so grateful to Bryan and my brother, Buddy,  and all of the brave men and women who care enough about this great country and who love its people and the freedoms we all share enough to put their lives on the line for them.
May God be with you in your time of sorry.

Jan, John and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We know how proud you must be of all the accomplishments that Bryan was able to achieve during his short time here on earth and know that it doesn't seem fair for God to take him at such a young age. Just remember there are so many lifes that Bryan was able to touch and make a difference in, on this earth and for God. We want to extend our thanks for what Bryan and the other men and women, who are fighting for our freedom, have done for our country. May God bless you and comfort you in this time of pain and need. We will keep you in our prayers.

To the Scripsick Family,
Although we do not know you or your son, we are very proud of a young man who was willing to sacrifice so much for this country. You should be very proud to have raised such a brave young man. While nothing anyone can say will take away the pain, you will always have great memories of your son. This nation owes a lot to you and all of the military families that have lost love ones in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are eternally grateful to your son.
