Arnold Eugene Rushing
Arnold Eugene Rushing, of Wynnewood was born October
24, 1940 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Elzie and Jewel (Cobb) Rushing.
He passed away December 8, 2007 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 67
years.
Arnold was raised in and around the Shawnee area. Wynnewood has been his
home since 1972. He was a Truck Driver and drove for many years. He
loved fishing, playing cards and dominos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Elzie Rushing; a
sister, Shirley Larimer and a nephew, Scottie Larimer.
Surviving family include two sons, Luke and Terry Rushing, Kevin and
Dana Rushing and one daughter, Tabitha and Michael Russell; seven
grandchildren, Kavin Rushing, Mallie Rushing, Jennifer Thompson, Brent
Rushing, Lisha and Silas Paty and Tyler Rushing; three
great-grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Shane Rushing and Jordon Thompson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 10:30 am at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. M. E. Sellers.
Private graveside services will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood
under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
