In Loving Memory Of

Elifus Wilbur (E. W.) Rowell, Sr.

Elifus Wilbur (E. W.) Rowell, Sr., of Sulphur, formerly of Wynnewood, was born January 20, 1928 in Alex, Oklahoma to Elifus Wilbur and Samantha J. (Henderson) Rowell.

He passed away June 9, 2010 in Davis, Oklahoma at Burford Manor at the age of 82 years.

He was married to Pearl Ann Rinehart (Perry) Rowell, in Ardmore, Oklahoma on March 26, 1987. Garvin County has been his home most of his life and most recently in Sulphur. E. W. attended the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary R. Rowell; 1 sister and several brothers; 3 daughters and 2 sons.

Survived by his wife, Pearl, of the home; his children, Levi and Ann Rowell of Del City; Josh Rowell and his fiancée, Jennie Drake, of Norman; Jim and Belinda Rowell of Garber; Alice Adams of Paoli; Ruth and Rick Mitchum of Plano, Texas; Vicki and Denver Robbins of Pauls Valley; Jamie Rowell of Sculpture, and; Jayce Rowell, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Clint Brown. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
