In Loving Memory Of

Betty Sue Quigg

Betty Sue Quigg, of Pauls Valley was born January 31, 1936 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Tom and Della (Craddock) Parten.

She passed away June 3, 2010 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years.

Betty was married to Elmo D. Quigg in Chandler, Oklahoma on July 7, 1959. She was a member of Paoli United Pentecostal Church.

Her hobbies include playing bridge, bowling, as well as quilting; She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys & OU Sooner fan. Betty had worked at Lynn's Pastry Shop for a time and then as Night Manager at the Donihoo-Colley Complex for 20 years until her retirement on June 30, 2007. The Paoli and Pauls Valley area has been her home all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmo D. Quigg on January 19, 1997; 2 sisters, Neal Bishop & Evelyn Bishop; 4 brothers, W.C, Loyd, T.N., and Dallas Parten.

Surviving family include 2 children, Larry Quigg and his wife, Jan, of Pauls Valley; and Jim Quigg of Ada; 1 brother, Ruben Parten of Pauls Valley; 1 sister, Lavon Oden of Louisiana; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Professional services and interment are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
