Bill E. Post

Bill E. Post, of Pauls Valley was born January 24, 1925 in
Huntsville, Arkansas to James Ray Post and Hazelle.
His family moved to Seminole when Bill was very young. He attended
Seminole schools and from High School he entered the Coast Guard where
he served during World War II. After his tour of duty he and Gladys Ball
were married in Huntsville, Arkansas on July 2, 1952 and moved to Pauls
Valley, Oklahoma where their home has been for the past 45 years.
He was an Oil Field Tester working in the Petroleum Industry until his
retirement and attended the Baptist Church.
Bill passed away April 8, 2006 at Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 81
years.
His surviving family includes his wife of 53 years, Gladys of the Home;
their children, Charolette Satterwhite and her husband, C. L., of Elmore
City, Richard Post of Roswell, New Mexico and Sue Carol Post of Oklahoma
City; 1 brother, Harrel Post of Miami, Ok.; 2 sisters, Charolene Parrish
of Springfield, Missouri and Margaret Post of Oklahoma City; 5
grandchildren, Tracy Tompkins & her husband, Joe Dale, P. J. Winnett,
John Post, Tamara Post and Whitney Post Richmeir; "Special Bud", Joey
Winnett; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by twin
brothers as infants as well as his brothers Jim Post, Rex Post and Bob
Post.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 10:00 am at
Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Pastor Bruce McCray. Interment will be
at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral
Home.
