Johnnie Plummer

Johnnie Plummer, of Pauls Valley was born November 4, 1921 in the Whitebead Community near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Robert E. Leese and Vivian Beal Leese. She passed away February 25, 2008 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Johnnie was married to Homer W. Plummer at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on April 22, 1940. She graduated from the Whitebead School and had lived in the Whitebead Community all of her life. She was a member of Whitebead Methodist Church.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Vivian Leese; her husband, Homer W. Plummer in 2001; and sister, Ruth Marsh.

Surviving family include her son and daughter in law, Trent & Glenda Plummer, of Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Carol Leese, of Edmond; and Paul Rotenberry, of Duncan; 2 sisters, Lenora Munsey, of Springfield, Missouri; and Doris Elmore, of Austin, Texas; 2 grandsons, Everett & Audra Plummer, and Cary Plummer, 1 great granddaughter, Kate Lynette Plummer.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Whitebead Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dennis Yates. Interment will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
