Francis Pingleton

Francis Vera Pingleton, of Pauls Valley was born June 22, 1921 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Ozzie Musgrove and Effie (Coppenbarger) Musgrove. She passed away July 5, 2004 in Pauls Valley at the age of 83 years.

She was married to J A Pingleton. Her favorite activities include her love for gardening and working in her yard. The Garvin County area has been her home all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J A Pingleton; a daughter, Mary Sorrels; two grandchildren, Pamela and Mickey Sorrels; 3 brothers, J. C. Musgrove, Bobby Musgrove and Ancle Musgrove; 3 sisters, Irene Hunt, Ailene Cottrell and Annie Morrison.

Surviving family include her son, Don Pingleton and his wife, Sharon, of Pauls Valley; three sisters, Nancy  Pierce, of Oklahoma City, Virginia Richardson and Sharon Mars and her husband, Everett, all of Pauls Valley; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Darrel Sorrels, of Pauls Valley.
