In Loving Memory Of

Gary A. Pickett

Gary A. Pickett, of Mineral Wells was born March 6, 1946 at home between Pauls Valley and Maysville to Alvin Levi Pickett and Lula Maybelle Fincher Pickett. He passed away January 30, 2008 at Mineral Wells, Texas at the age of 61 years.

He grew up in Garvin County and is a graduate of Wynnewood High School.

Gary went to work for the Sante Fe Railroad and retired after 20 years of service with them. While working for the railroad he lived in various places. Mineral Wells has been his home for the past 15 years.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Debbie; 1 sister, Conethia June Tobey; 1 brother, Ray Dean Pickett.

Surviving family include his two sisters, Patsy and James Holt of Pauls Valley; and Barbara Dawn and Ray Johnson of Ringwood; five brothers, Billy R. and Sybil Pickett of Ft. Towson; Doyle L. Pickett and Homer and Neta Pickett, all of Pauls Valley; Darron Dee Pickett of Maysville; and James Tobey of Pauls Valley; his best friend, Sheila, of Mineral Wells; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Patrick McCone. Interment will be at the Maysville Cemetery, only 4 miles from where he was born, under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
