Welda Jo Perkins

Welda Jo Perkins, of Pauls Valley, was born November 2, 1952 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to John Weldon and Betty Jo (Seely) Driskill She is a graduate of the Downey High School in California.

She passed away April 11, 2007 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years. Welda worked as a Beautician in Hollywood, California. Welda lived most of her life in California, Hawaii and Pauls Valley and attended the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God, Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by mother, Betty Hutchison; father, Weldon Driskill; sister, Sheila Driskill; husband, Robert 'Bob' Perkins; and a daughter, Jamie Perkins.

Surviving family include her sister, Cheryle Ketchum; brother, Robert Driskill; son, Jeremy Burk & his wife Kristy; son, Jason Burk & his wife Tina; daughter, Jessica Bernal; grandchildren, Dawson Burk, Naythan O’Neal, Dalton Burk, Brianna Baxter, Jayden Baxter, Meadow Burk, Camryn Burk, and Riely Burk; nieces & nephews, Wendy Rivas, Travis Driskill, and Wesley Driskill as well as 6 great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Pearson, Jason Ferguson, Mondo Rivas, Morgan Snodgrass, Michael Peck, and Chuck Perry.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God officiated by Rev. Charles Ledbetter. Burial will be at Katie Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
