In Loving Memory Of

Carol  Kay "Blue" Pearson

Carol Kay (Blue) Pearson, of Paoli was born September 2, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to John Golden Barnes and Ethel Leora Blevins Barnes. She passed away February 6, 2006 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years.

Carol was married to Dwain 'Buck' Pearson at Wayne, Oklahoma on May 17, 1961. She was a member of the Paoli Church of Christ and had lived in Paoli for the past 45 years. Carol worked for over 30 years as a hairdresser at Nina's Beauty Shop. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren very much. Carol was a very giving and loving person. She was an avid O.U. fan and loved paint horses.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, John & Ethel Barnes; 2 sons, William Golden Pearson & Darin Wain Pearson; brother in law, Jackie Wayne Pearson; and mother in law & father in law, Lexie & Pete Pearson.

Surviving family include her husband, Buck Pearson, of the home; 2 daughters & 1 son, Rena Houck, Dea & Frank Newsom and Gavin Pearson all of Paoli; a brother and his wife, Johnny Ray & Alice Barnes of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Allie Lou Davis of Washington and Golda Frazee of California; sisters-in-law, Wanda & Joe Wigley, of Paoli, Brenda & David Smith of Ardmore, Carla & Dewayne Wilkey of Paoli and Judy Simmons of Pauls Valley; 3 grandchildren, Tanner Houck, Hunter Walker, and Kadence Newsom, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends,

Donations may be made in memory of Carol to the American Diabetes Association or the Breast Cancer Research.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Fred Butler and Pastor Brian Black. Burial will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
