Margie Nunley

Margie Nunley, a resident of Pauls Valley was born October 12, 1915 in Ada, Oklahoma and passed away May 2, 2004 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. She and Roy G. Nunley were married in Konawa, Oklahoma in January 1930. The Pauls Valley and Wynnewood areas have been their home for over 54 years.

Margie was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker and was a member of the  Higher Ground Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Elizabeth (Tyler) Huckeby; 2 daughters, Mona Blankenship on July 23, 2000, and Brenda Nunley on February 23, 2001.

Surviving family include her husband of 74 years, Roy G. Nunley of the home; 3 daughters, Dee Milligan and her husband, Robert; Diana Sue Ammons and her husband, Kenny, of Pauls Valley; and Patricia Lee Davis and her husband, Jim, of Lenanon, Ok; 2 sons, Royce Nunley and his wife, Mary, of Wynnewood and Tim Nunley of Pauls Valley; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandsons and 1 sister, Shirley Rawson, Dude, of Moore.

Funeral services will be held May 4, 2004 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Pastor Joel Downing. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
