Willie V (Heath) Morris

Willie V (Heath) Morris, of Pauls Valley was born October 23, 1923 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Walker V and Nora (Smith) Heath.

She passed away July 31, 2005 at her home near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Willie V Heath was married to Eli W. Morris in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on October 22, 1952.

She attended and graduated from Pauls Valley High School. And furthered her education in business college. Willie worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired as Chief Telephone Operator of the Pauls Valley office in 1976. She was a member of Valley Christian Church. Pauls Valley has been her home all of her life.

Willie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Coy Berniece Heath; three brothers, Wesley Banton Heath, Asa Lavoy Heath and Tolan Laroy (Dolly) Heath as well as a nephew, Freddy Heath.

Surviving family include her sisters, Elizabeth Huckaby-Frankenberg of Oklahoma City and Pauline Evans of Midwest City; nephew, John Huckaby and his wife, Lois, of Moore; nephew, Larry Evans and his wife, Pamela and their daughter, Staci Lynn Evans, all of Edmond; nephew, David Evans, of Midwest City and his children, Frances Ann Dunkin & her husband, Hunter and Jonathan David Evens, of Chickasha; nephew, Teddy Heath of Pauls Valley and Wesley Arnold Heath, of Mississippi; a niece, Lavern Jolly-Heath of Pauls Valley; as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 10:30 am at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Rev. Larry Cornforth. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
