In Loving Memory Of

Lillie Bell Morphew

Lillie Bell Morphew, of Pauls Valley was born November 22, 1927 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Albert Sydney Eggleston and Bertha Mae McCurley Eggleston. She passed away July 12, 2007 at Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Lillie had lived in Pauls Valley all of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley. Lillie had worked as a nurse at the hospital. She was very proud of her yard and kept it in very good condition and had a great love for animals, especially her poodles.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Bertha Eggleston; her first husband, William Holland Eppler; her second husband, George Washington Morphew in October 1991; grandson, Sean Lynn Cockerham; brother, Buddy Eggleston and sister, Ruby Jackson.

Surviving family include her 3 children, Mary Ann and Wolf Schrader, of Noble; Bettie Sue and Ray Sterling, of Norman and William Holland Smith; 7 grandchildren, Kyle Schrader, Schad Meldrum, Kurt Schrader, Ryan Meldrum, Karl Schrader, Billy Smith and Chris Smith; 9 great grandchildren; her nephew, Tim and Connie Gamble, of Pauls Valley; a great nephew, Chris Gamble and a great-great nephew and niece, Dylon and Bailey Gamble; and her good friend, Hiawana Pike.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
