In Loving Memory Of

Galvin Lynn Montgomery

Galvin Lynn Montgomery of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on May 27th after a valiant battle with cancer. Lynn died at his home in Fort Worth, surrounded by loving family. Lynn was survived by his mother, brothers, James Dixon Montgomery, Benny Montgomery and Wayne Montgomery, aunts, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Lynn was born October 2, 1946 to Forrest Lynn Montgomery and Nora Magdalene Montgomery, nee Gibson, in Pauls Valley, where he grew up

Lynn married his childhood sweetheart, Shirley Ross on July 29, 1962. Lynn and Shirley have two sons, Forrest Lynn Montgomery, II and Randal Montgomery. He has five grandchildren, Zachary, Keelan, Megan, Madison and Trevor Montgomery.

Lynn had a real zest for life and a great love for people and was looking forward to returning to Pauls Valley, where they had purchased a home. They planned to retire and come home next year.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 3:00 pm at the Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

My condolences to you.  I knew Lynn through work and you are right, he did have a zest for life!  He was always smiling or joking.  These are the things that I will miss most about Lynn.  May God look over you and your family
