Larry "L. C." Mitchell

Larry "L. C." Mitchell, of Pauls Valley was born October 19, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He passed away January 3, 2007 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years.

Larry worked in Home Improvement Construction for many years as a Carpet Installer. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. where he earned the rank of Lance Corporal and was a Veteran of Viet Nam.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Freddie Mitchell.

Surviving family include 3 children, James Ruth and his wife, Brenda, Angela Pearson, all of Pauls Valley and Tammy Hicks and her husband, John, of Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Kristy Burke and her husband, Jeremy, Brian Pearson and his wife, Stormy Smith, Natasha Ruth, Justin Ruth and Ashley Ruth, as well as 6 great-grandchildren, Kody Pearson, Naythan O'Neal, Brianna Baxter, Jayden Baxter, Meadow Burk and Kandence Whatley.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Paoli Cemetery officiated by Pastor Brian Black. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
