In Loving Memory Of

Florence Millsap

Florence Millsap, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, was born March 15, 1922 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Charlie and Edna (Pendegraf) Smith.

She passed away September 17, 2007 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.

Florence Smith was married to Homer Eugene Millsap in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on June 8, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1992.

She worked in health care as a Nurses Aide for 15 years at the Convalescent Home in Dallas, Texas and for 15 years at the Pauls Valley State School. Dallas and Pauls Valley were her home most of her life. The past 6 years she has lived in Weatherford to be closer to family.

Surviving family include her two children, Homer Ray Millsap and his wife, Alice, of Weatherford and Sandra Kay Taylor and her husband, Don, of Roanoke, Texas; six grandchildren, Denise Beasley and her husband, Rick; Kevin Millsap and his wife, Christy; Kim Ashley; Sheldon Millsap; Kristin Violi and her husband, Anthony; and Blake Taylor; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Smith and his wife, Darlene, of Harlingen, Texas and Edward Smith of Phoenix, Arizona.

A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for the evening of, Wednesday, September 19th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

A Family graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery,
conducted by her son-in-law, Don Taylor. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
