In Loving Memory Of

Willis G. 'Red' Milligan

Willis G. 'Red' Milligan, of Pauls Valley was born June 19, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Vernon Milligan and Myrtle.

He passed away December 30, 2004 at Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years.

Willis was married to Violet Howeth at Ardmore, Oklahoma on May 2, 1953.

The Pauls Valley area has been his home all of his life. Willis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked as a mechanic and a farmer.

'Red' was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Myrtle Milligan; son, Jerry Milligan; grandson, Travis Shufeldt; and sister, Georgia Lee Scheimann.

Surviving family include his wife, Violet M. Milligan of the home; 1 son, Gary Milligan and his wife, Debra of Pauls Valley; 3 daughters, Welina Shufeldt and her husband, Bill of South Coffeyville, Ok., Kim McGee and her husband, Randy of Pauls Valley and Tina Andrews and her husband, Ken, of Ada; 2 brothers, Robert Milligan of Pauls Valley and Kenny Milligan of Arlington, Texas; 2 sisters, Eula Mae Oller of Elmore City and Catherine Dennis of Pauls Valley; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Eugene Howeth. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
