Betty: We were shocked to hear of Luke's death.
George and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy.
I really enjoyed knowing LD at Southeast. We hope to
see you as soon as things settle down a bit.

Sincerely,

I was sorry to read about Luke in the newspaper today.
If I had known sooner I would have attended the services.
I considered Luke a good friend. He and I spent a number
of hours visiting. He was one of the first Teachers who wanted
to use the "Grade Book" computer program I wrote for the TRS-80
Radio Shack Computer. He was a good guy that everybody liked
(except maybe some of our administrators) and he was always ready
to help anyone.  It is my pleasure to have known him.

Thanks

I have many memories of Luke from when I worked with him
at Carl Albert High School. The last time that he substituted he
shown me photos of his granddaughters. He was so proud of them.
He will truly be missed by many people. I pray that God will give
you peace that comes from knowing that Luke is there in His arms.

Deepest Sympathy for Your Loss,

For Betty and Chuck:

Mr. M. was our son's math teacher at SE.
Our Joe went on to get a degree in math and
then a PH.D. in Ed. He is currently head of the
Ed. dept at Purdue in Ind. We are grateful to
Mr. M. for his good background.

I was teaching music at SE. Mr. M. and
I had a good working relationship.

I also remember Betty from the period when
I was at MHS. I appreciated her cheerfulness.

Chuck, I hope you remember me as
your counselor at MHS. I hope you are
having a good life. I am sincerely sorry
for your family's loss.
