Geraldine Meely

Geraldine Meely, of Stratford was born September 25, 1932 in Byars, Oklahoma to Ben and Hannah Wallace.

She passed away April 13, 2006 at Stratford, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Geraldine Wallace was married to Eslin Meely in Ada, Oklahoma on September 7, 1951. They had made their home in Oklahoma City for about 40 years until Mr. Meely's retirement. They returned at that time to Garvin County where they made their home. Eslin preceded her in death on February 13, 2004. They had been married 52 years at his passing.

She was preceded in death by Besides her parents and her husband, other family preceding her in death would include 4 brothers, Josh Wallace, Vernon Wallace, Luke Wallace and Tecumseh Wallace as well as her 2 sisters, Evelyn Amos and Anna Belle Arborson.

Surviving family include her brothers, Marvin Wallace and Frederick Wallace, both of Sulphur; 1 sister, Mary Meeley of Maysville; 2 half sisters, Pat Amos and Janice Capehart, both of Sulphur; as well as a host of nieces including, Jessica, Andrea, Jennifer and Marissa, and nephews, including, Vernon, Calvin and Daniel.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Leon C. Postoak. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
