~ Words of Care and Concern From Family and Friends ~

Hello to my cousins and families. I am Mary Lu Grant (aunt Mary's daughter.) and I am so sorry about Edith. Mary Faye sent us the word by email.  I wish that I could come and see everyone but my husband is in a wheelchair and I cannot leave him. If it were just for the day I might could but it is too far just for the day. I spent the day with Aunt Addie last Wednesday. She just recently moved to Lubbock and we had a nice visit. My love, prayers and sympathy go out toall of Edith's family. We will keep you in our prayers in the days and weeks ahead as God begins a work of healing in your hearts. Love and prayers.

Be Sure to reach out for God's blessings today. Love, ML

The obituary said, "The angels took her to a much better place", AMEN to that!!  I want you to know, I am sorry for your loss.
All the years of visiting in Oklahoma, when I was growing up, I remember Edith more than anyone else.  It was always exciting when Daddy would take us to visit Uncle Sam and Aunt Cassie, I knew I'd get to see Edith.  I don't remember if I talked to her all that much, but she always made you feel at home and of course she made sure you felt special.  When Stormie and I discovered we were COUSINS, the first person I asked about, was Edith.   I remembered Edith and always wondered how she was.   I am blessed that I got to attend that Lambert Family Reunion, I got to see Edith!!!   My Mama loved Edith and so did my Daddy.

Lucky her, but one day we'll meet again.   I can see the Reunion going on right now, wish I was there, don't you know they are having the time of their life...singing, dancing, hugging and finally getting to see Jesus!!!!   My thoughts and prayers are with you all.   Circumstances keep me from attending her funeral, but you can rest assured I will be with you in prayer.
  Love, Mary Louise Lambert Meeks

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Edith was my cousin and one year older than I. I always remember going to visit Uncle Sam and Aunt Cassie and playing with Edith and Velma. I wish that I could attend the service and visit with the family but know that I will be there in spirit and with my prayers. God bless each of you and know that if you trust in the Lord you will see her again because we have that hope. Jesus made a way for us to be together again.

My prayers are with you all.

Love, Wilma Measles Hogan (Aunt Mary's youngest daughter) Munday, Texas
