Beverly D. Mackey

Beverly D. Mackey, of Pauls Valley was
born May 20, 1936 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Harvey Austin and Bernyce
(Bradley) Neal.
She passed away February 11, 2005 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of
68 years.
Buddy Mackey and she were married in Davis, Oklahoma on August 20, 1955.
She was a Accountant.
Beverly graduated from Elmore City High School and furthered her education
by attending East Central University and University of Oklahoma.
She is a past Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce as well as the
Secretary for the Superintendent of Schools in Pauls Valley and for 14
years she was the Accountant for DeMarge College in Oklahoma City.
Through the 1960's Beverly devoted much of her time and energy to produce
all of the Miss Pauls Valley Pageants as well as Judging Beauty Pageants
through the State of Oklahoma. Her life revolved around her family.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church as well as a member of
the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 185 in Pauls Valley. Pauls Valley
has been her home most of her life.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey A. and Bernyce Neal;
a brother, Don Neal from Davis and a sister Theresa Parenti from Davis.
Surviving family include her husband of nearly 50 years, Buddy Mackey of
the home; 2 children, Jo Renee Myler of Oklahoma City and Mickie Diane
Grimmett and her husband, Brent, of Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Sherrill
Neal of Bentonville, Arkansas and Danny Neal of Liberal, Kansas; 6
grandchildren, Brian David Hilburn, of Midland, Texas, Angela Diane
Grimmett of Edmond, Buddy Dale Hilburn of San Antonio, Texas, Lauren Beth
Grimmett and Robert Tyler Grimmett, both of Pauls Valley and Brittany
Michelle North, of Oklahoma City; as well as 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday,
February 14, 2005 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church
officiated by Pastor Robert Kanary and Pastor Perla Goody. Burial will be
at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home.
