Ernest O. Lusk

Ernest O. "Toby" Lusk, of Pauls Valley was born
October 19, 1925 in Orangefield, Texas to Abel and Alene (Francois)
Lusk.
After high school he continued his education and is a graduate of the
university of Texas. "Toby" served in the United States Navy and is a
Veteran of World War II.
He was married to Mary Theresa Tongue in Weatherford, Oklahoma on June
4, 1976. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he had
served on the Board of Deacons and was a church Elder. His hobbies
included hunting, fishing and gardening as well as raising cattle. Toby
worked for Welex Oil Company in research and development and with a
partner started Go-Jet Services and retired early from Gearhart-Owens.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Curtis, James Aldridge & Archie
Ray Lusk; and 1 sister, Katie Krell.
He passed away July 21, 2006 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 80
years.
Surviving family include his wife, Mary of the home; 5 step-sons,
William and his wife, Marty, Michael and his wife, Sidney all of Tulsa,
John and his wife, Linda of Duncan, James and his wife, Kim of
Bremerton, Washington, and David and his wife, Jerri of Pauls Valley; 2
sisters, Elsie Kelly of San Jose, California and Audrey McShan of
Tomball, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 9
great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 10:00 am at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Tom Buzbee. Burial
will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home.
