- Robert B. Lowe, 66, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, died
Saturday, November 20, 2004, in Alamogordo.

- Mr. Lowe was born February 10, 1938 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. As a young man
he was a Boy Scout and achieved scouting's highest rank, that of Eagle
Scout, plus scouting's highest religious achievement, that of the God and
Country Award. He also was a member and Past Master Councilor of the Order
of DeMolay.

- Robert was saved and baptized in the First Christian
Church and later became a member of the First Christian Church Disciples
of Christ of Pauls Valley in 1952.

- In 1956 he graduated from Pauls Valley (Oklahoma) High School and attended
the University of Oklahoma from 1956 through 1958. He served in the U.S.
Army for three years in Germany and was discharged with the rank of
Sergeant. He then graduated from Draughon's School of Electronics with
bachelor and masters degrees in electrical engineering.

- He was employed at Norair Missile Center in Santa Monica,
California, and Lockheed Missiles, traveling and working in Europe until
January 1968. In 1969, Robert relocated in Alamogordo and taught
electronics at Alamogordo High School for ten years.

- In 1979 he began work for Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital
in Alamogordo as Head of Maintenance and retired from there in 2000. He
began a partnership with his brother, Joe, and became a full-time farmer,
raising both pecans and peaches, at Oscuro, New Mexico.

- Robert was preceded in death by his father, Sam Lowe, on
May 4, 1997.

- Survivors include two sons, Mike Lowe and his wife Roberta
of Santa Fe, and Howard Lowe and his wife Janet of New York state; four
grandchildren; his mother, Lois Lowe of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; a brother,
Joe D. Lowe and his wife Geri of Albuquerque; two sisters, Sharon Rothe of
Crown Point, Indiana, and Betty Soto of Norman, Oklahoma; four nephews,
Marc Soto and his wife, Andrea, and Randy Soto, all of Norman, Jeff Lowe
and Dan Lowe and his wife, Kathy, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a niece,
Annie Rose Williams of Miller, Indiana; and an aunt and uncle, Mavis and
William "Bill" Quincy of Ada, Oklahoma.

- A visitation for friends to sign the Memorial Book will be
Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

- In lieu of flowers the family requests that
memorials in the name of Robert B. Lowe be sent to the
Oklahoma Medical Research
Foundation in Oklahoma City for Cancer Research. Cards and envelopes are available at the
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home for memorials.

- Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, November
24, at 2:30 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma under the
direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
