Thomas Foy "Tom" Looney

Thomas F. "Tom" Looney was born September 16, 1935 and left this world on July 12, 2004 at home in Liberty Hill, Texas. Tom is the son of Loye Looney of Liberty Hill, Texas and the late Baxter Looney. He is survived by his wife, Betty Alexander Looney, of the home. They were married for 49 years and 8 months. Also, his children, Randy and his wife, Melinda, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Richard and his wife, Nancy, of Marlow, Ok., Regina and her husband, Jeff Cox, of Liberty Hill, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Scott Looney and his wife, Heather, Ashley Looney, Rachel Cox, Tracy Looney, Cody Looney and Brian Cox; 2 great-grandchildren, Hannah and Haegan Looney.

Tom was a loving husband and father. Tom loved life and loved living. He had a wonderful sense of humor which will be missed.

Tom was a member of the Wynnewood United Pentecostal Church. He lived in Wynnewood for 18 years.

Tom was retired from Dowell Schlumberger in 1985 after 31 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was past master of Wynnewood Lodge # 40.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Thomas Foy Looney.

The funeral will be held in the Stufflebean Chapel in Pauls Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16. The family will receive visitors on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
