Jack P. Longmire, Jr.

Jack P. Longmire, Jr., of Colorado Springs was born March 7, 1958 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Barbara J. and Jack P. Longmire, Sr. He passed away at his home June 6, 2004 at Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 46 years.

Jack was very proud of his children. His daughter will graduate in August 2004 from Texas A & M and will be commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. His son is a Specialist in the Army and is stationed in Germany at this time and has served 11 months in Iraq.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Terry Thompson; his mother, Barbara Ragland Suokas; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jack C. Longmire and her maternal grandfather, Roy Ragland.

Surviving family include his two children, Melissa C. Longmire Comiskey of Brazoria, Texas; and Specialist Jack C. Longmire of Hanau, Germany; his parents, Jack P. Longmire, Sr. and Mary K. Longmire of Divide, Colorado; one brother, Steven R. Longmire of California; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Roy Ragland of Pauls Valley.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Dr. Robert J. Kanary. A private interment will be conducted at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
