Helen Francis Pratt Lobaugh

Helen Francis Pratt Lobaugh, age 102, of Milledgeville, Georgia, died January 31, 2007.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Lobaugh was a homemaker for the late David D. Lobaugh, Sr. until his death in 1975. She was born in Salisbury, Missouri. She grew up in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma until her marriage in 1923. Following her late husband's business career she lived in Oklahoma, Nebraska and Ohio.

For 65 years, Mrs. Lobaugh was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and bible teacher in a number of churches. Some of her students have kept up with her for fifty years after being in her classes. She left a mark on hundreds of young people and they loved her for it.

For many of those church Mrs. Lobaugh was the church pianist and soloist. Her last church was Catalina Baptist in Tucson, Arizona. She served in this way until she moved to Milledgeville in 1988 when she was 84 years old.

Survivor include her two sons, David D. Lobaugh, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia and John J. Lobaugh of Tucson, Arizona; one granddaughter, two grandsons, seven great-grandchildren.
