Lenora Sue Linker, of Wynnewood was born November 14,
1952 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Lloyd and Edna Mae (Cole) King.
She passed away July 27, 2007 at her home in the Joy Community near
Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years.
She was married to James H. 'Jim' Linker at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on
February 14, 1982. Jim preceded her in death February 13, 2005. The Joy
Community has been her home the past 17 years.
Surviving family include her nine children, Sandy Jensen and her
husband, Gus, of Joplin, Missouri; Tinker Oliver and her husband, Mark
and Kelly Apher and her husband, Eric, all of Charlton, Massachusetts;
Becky Salsman and her husband, Jim, of Wayne; Ashley Scales and her
husband, Brandon, of Wynnewood; Jason Linker, of Wayne; Frankie Linker
and Jimmy Leroy Linker, of Pauls Valley; and Kandi Miller, of Chickasha;
one brother, Lloyd King of Hico, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Cole and
Darla Lemons, of Pauls Valley; 19 grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews; as well as dear friends, Arlena Brown and family and Shirley
Prince and family.
Our mother was very loving, caring and devoted; always putting other
before herself. No matter what time of day or night she was always there
with a listening ear, a loving heart and warming advice. She truly was
one of the best people you would ever know. By knowing her you were
truly blessed. We will miss her with all our heart and soul. She was our
rock and our everything. She will never be forgotten for all the
inspiration she left behind for us all.
Visitation, allowing time for family and friends to pay their respects,
will be Monday, July 30, 2007 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. Services for cremation are under the
direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
