Vera Fay Kimbro

Vera Fay Kimbro, of Wynnewood, was born October 2, 1932 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to G. H. 'Red' and Edna (Beavers) Cottrell.

She passed away August 19, 2005 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

Fay grew up in the Oakdale Community where she also attended school. She was a devoted housewife and mother who helped to raise many families. The highlight of her life was her granddaughter, Shauni Jo.

She was married to Robert Kimbro at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on March 18, 1960. She was a Homemaker and Mother.

Surviving family include her husband of over 45 years, Robert Kimbro of the home; her son, Marvin Kimbro and his wife, Shelia; a granddaughter, Shauni Jo Kimbro all of Wynnewood; she was godmother and a special aunt to Mike Cottrell of Davis; and Sherri Kelley and Melissa Cottrell of Edmond and Greg Cottrell of Paoli; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents; as well as her grandparents, Randolph and Vera Cottrell and John and Fannie Beavers; 2 brothers, John and Gale Cottrell and 1 sister, Shirley Dunkin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Bro. Orville Cottrell. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
