In Loving Memory Of
Delouris Kimbro

Delouris Kimbro, of Wynnewood, was born June 7, 1913 to
Hiram and Ola Russell. She passed away February 6, 2010 in Pauls Valley,
Oklahoma at the age of 96 years.
Delouris Mable Jane Russell was married to Oscar Lee Kimbro in
Holdenville, Oklahoma on November 23, 1927. She was a member of the
Baptist Church and had made the Wynnewood area her home all of her life.
Delouris was a loving mother, grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She always put her family first. She loved cooking for her family
especially at the family gathering each Sunday for dinner. Delouris also
loved working and taking care of her flowers in her in her flower
garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Ola Russell; her
husband, Oscar Lee Kimbro on May 17, 1989; 1 son, Oscar Lee Kimbro, Jr.;
2 brothers, Loran and Clifford Russell; and 1 sister, Sylvia Coslow.
Surviving family include her four children, Robert Earl Kimbro and Loran
Merl Kimbro, both of Wynnewood; Joy Dunkin of Stratford; and Bernettia
Chaffin of Sulphur; 2 sisters, Dorothy Bass of Tulsa; and Francis Davis
of Maud; 13 grandchildren, Numerous great grandchildren, Numerous
great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Orville Cottrell.
Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Interment and
professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home. |
