In Loving Memory Of
Nellie C. Jones
Nellie C. Jones, of Pauls Valley was born March 23,
1918 in Healdton, Oklahoma to William Henry Gammel and Minnie Alice Duke
Gammel.
She passed away December 31, 2007 at Pauls Valley Health Care in Pauls
Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.
Nellie was married to Vernon E. "Casey " Jones in Wilson, Oklahoma on
March 23, 1941. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1997.
She was an Interior Designer, a homemaker and had worked in several
retail businesses in Pauls Valley. She arranged flowers for the Pauls
Valley Hospital Auxiliary for several years. Nellie loved beauty and
flowers, keeping her yard to perfection.
She was a faithful member of the Paul & Pine Church of Christ, baptized
at a very young age. Nellie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother,
totally devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, William & Minnie Gammel;
her husband, Vernon E. "Casey" Jones; one sister, Irene; and one
brother, Marvin.
Nellie is survived by her 2 children & their spouses, Vernon & Lou Jones
of Pauls Valley; and Myron & Dennis Phillips of Kingston; 5
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 10:00 am at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Roy Shave. Interment
will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home.
