Harlon Haskell Jones

Harlon Haskell Jones, of Wayne was born November 19, 1948 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Terrance Powderly Jones and Nora Willeen Jones. He passed away April 5, 2007 at Wayne, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years.

Harlon was married to Gaylon Bryant at Wayne, Oklahoma on July 4, 1990. He was a Powerline Construction worker and hay hauler. He was raised in this area and lived here most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 children, Thomas Lee Jones, Benjiman Jones, Nicholas Jones; and 2 sisters, Rosie Dobbins and Marilyn Moore.

Surviving family include his Seven Children, Neil Joyner and his wife, Cheri, of Rosedale; Connie and her husband, Randy, of Ore City, Texas; Jennie Jones, of Rosedale; Amber Cheatham, of Pauls Valley; Lacie Smith and her husband, Kevin, of Paoli; James Jones and his wife, Leigh Ann, of Gilmer, Texas; and Joni Jones, of Ft. Worth, Texas; 1 brother, Bill Jones, of Wayne; 2 sisters, Margaret Smith and her husband, Bob, of Pauls Valley; and Norma Jones and her husband, Joe Bryant, of Rosedale; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and, 1 great-grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Henry Rush, Jr.. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
