In Loving Memory Of

Alma Ruth Duncan Jones

Alma Ruth Duncan Jones, of Pauls Valley, was born November 14, 1922 in Lexington, Oklahoma to "Shorty" Russell Daniel Duncan and Ada Mae Griffith Duncan.

She passed away May 8, 2008 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.

Alma Ruth Duncan was married to Fayte L. Jones in Maysville, Oklahoma on July 23, 1938. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1998. They had been married over 60 years at the time of his passing.

Pauls Valley area has been her home since 1938. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fayte L. Jones and a sister Dorthy Gillenter.

Surviving family include her children, William L. Jones of Maysville; Kennith R. Jones of the Beaty Community; Kendall L. Jones of Tishomingo; and Ruth Triplitt, of Bradley; 2 brothers, Buddy Duncan of Nicoma Park and Lee-Roy Duncan of Midwest City; 2 sisters, Martha Williams of Sulphur and Willie Jean Retana of Bakersfield, California; 4 half brothers and sisters, Bobby Lee Duncan, Russell Duncan, Jeanie Bullock and Calley Sue, all of Texas; 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Kennith R. Jones, Kendall L. Jones, Jerry Jones, Terry Jones, Donnie Tripplett and Mike Parris.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. Richard Dennis. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
