In Loving Memory Of

Charlie Jarman

Charlie Jarman, of Pauls Valley was born October 31, 1913 in Maysville, Oklahoma to C. V. and Rushey (Neal) Jarman. Garvin County has been his home all of his life.

He passed away September 22, 2006 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years.

On August 24, 1934, he was married to Bobbie Johnston in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Jarman was a retired Farmer. He was also a member of the Pauls Valley First Church of God where he has served as Chairman of the Board for 30 years and taught Sunday School for 25 years as well as having a perfect attendance in Sunday School for over 25 years.

He loved his church and his family as well as the great outdoors of which he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jessie Jarman, Dawson Jarman, a sister, Hattie Raney, and brothers, Orval Jarman, Marvin Jarman and an infant sister, Dessie Jarman.

Surviving family include his wife of 72 years, Bobbie of the home; their son and his wife, Jimmie and Janise Jarman of Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Emmit Jarman, of Salida, California and Alvin Jarman, of Pauls Valley; 2 grandchildren, Jeff Jarman and his wife, Kelley and Jill Cliburn and her husband, Jeff; 5 great-grandchildren, Caitlin Cliburn, Cara Cliburn, Jayson Jarman, Jamie White and Jared White.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
