Alvin Jarman, of Pauls Valley was born July 26, 1927 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Claude Vernon Jarman and Rushey E. Neal Jarman. He passed away December 12, 2006 at Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years.

Alvin was married to Lois Dean Luttrell at Pauls Valley on October 27, 1955. He was a bull dozer operator for G & J Construction. He had lived most of his life in this area. He was a member of 1st Church of God. Alvin sold used coon dogs and was known as "Honest Al". He never met a stranger and had a great love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude & Rushey Jarman; infant sister, Dessie Jarman; sister, Hattie Raney; 5 brothers, Jessie, Dawson, Orval, Marvin & Charlie.

Surviving family include his 6 children, Gary & Janna Jarman, Johnny & Brenda Jarman, and Wayne & Lou Ann Beam, all of Pauls Valley; Scott & Paula McCracken, of Wayne; Mike & Becky Martin, of Pauls Valley; and Jody & Nicole Jarman, of OKC; brother, Emmitt Jarman, of Modesto, California; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Pauls Valley First United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Patrick McCone and Gary Underwood. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Lois Jarman, of Pauls Valley was born January 6, 1936 in Ceder Lane, Texas to R. L. and Avis Broadhead Luttrell. She passed away December 12, 2006 at Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Lois was married to Virgil Alvin Jarman at Pauls Valley, Ok. on October 27, 1955. They had been married for over 51 years. She was a Teacher's Aide at the Pauls Valley State School until retiring. She had lived most of her life in this area. She was a member of 1st Church of God. Lois loved her church and the Road Warriors. Her best friend was Nita Jarman. Lois was well known for her cooking. She loved the Sooners and taking care of her babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, R. L. and Avis Luttrell.

Surviving family include her 6 children, Gary & Janna Jarman, Johnny & Brenda Jarman, and Wayne & Lou Ann Beam, all of Pauls Valley; Scott & Paula McCracken, of Wayne; Mike & Becky Martin, of Pauls Valley; and Jody & Nicole Jarman, of OKC; brother, Terry Luttrell, of Ardmore; sister, Clara Wigley, of Maysville; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
