Mae Jackson

Mae Jackson, of Pauls Valley was born October 15, 1915 in
Love County, Oklahoma to Henry and Sadie (Jones) Gracey.
She passed away April 15, 2006 at Elk City at the age of 90 years. She
was married to W. R. "Bill" Jackson November 15, 1935.
Mae was a private duty nurse & nursery worker for over 20 years at The
Trinity Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. She lived most of her
life in Pauls Valley and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was
also a member of the Pauls Valley Rebecca Lodge and past Grand Noble.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry & Sadie Gracey; her
husband, W. R. "Bill" Jackson on Feb . 6, 1993; her son, Bill Lee
Jackson on Aug. 22, 1998; two sisters, Esther Coker & Tina Dunn; and
step father, C. P. Dean.
Surviving family include her daughter in law, Loretta Jackson, Dallas,
Texas; brother, A. M. "Digger" Dean & his wife Berneice, of Amarillo,
Texas; 3 grandchildren, Cindy Mikles & her husband Tony, of Elk City,
Laurie Staton & her husband Brian, of Katy, Texas and Jennifer Maddox &
her husband Matthew, of Dallas, Texas; 6 great grandchildren, Whitney &
Chad Mikles, Devin & Lane Staton, and Jackson & Austen Maddox.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 3:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Paul McCullough. Burial will be at
Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral
Home.
