Stella Iva Beddo Holt

Stella Iva Beddo Holt, of Pauls Valley was born April 11, 1911 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Burleson Walker Beddo and Dolly Mae Malicoat Beddo. She passed away March 30, 2007 at Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years.

Stella was married to Rossie B. Holt in 1926 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Her husband preceded her in death in 1976.

Garvin County had been her home all of her life. She worked as a Nurses Aide and an Attendant at the Pauls Valley State School until her retirement. Stella was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burleson & Dolly Beddo; her husband, Rossie B. Holt; 14 brothers and sisters; 2 children, Betty Millis and Kaye Gillespie.

Surviving family include: 6 children, Gerald Holt, James and Patsy Holt, Annette and Paul Bowles, all of Pauls Valley, Nellie J. and Monty Anderson of Carson City, Nevada, Carolyn Sue & Bruce Fitzgerald of Falling Waters, West Virginia and Larry K. and Linda Holt of Honolulu, Hawaii; her sister, Marie Rhodes of Dallas, Texas; 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Lynn Ice and Rev. Aldon Preston. Interment will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
