Tommie Jo Blackwood Hobson

Tommie Jo Blackwood Hobson, of Pauls Valley was born July 11, 1983 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She passed away May 8, 2007 near Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 23 years.

Tommie Jo lived in Wynnewood and Pauls Valley most of her life. She attended Pauls Valley Schools to her Junior Year and is a 2001 graduate of Purcell High School. She had worked at the K 9 Clipper and Pampered Paws grooming pets. Tommie Jo enjoyed rodeos, riding horses and being around animals.

Tommie Jo Blackwood was married to Patrick Hobson in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on July 19, 2003. She attended the Higher Ground Church.

Surviving family include her husband, Patrick; 2 children, Emmy Lou Hobson and Katie Josephine Hobson, all of the home; mother and step father, Kim & Randy McGee of Pauls Valley; father and step mother, Tommy & Sarah Blackwood of Wayne; grandparents, Violet Milligan of Pauls Valley; J. T. & Betty Blackwood of Wynnewood; Noah & Faye Henderson of Noble; and Jerry Hobson of Lexington; 6 sisters, Amy Jackson of Pauls Valley; Dusty Norman of Ada; Maggie McGee of Pauls Valley; Ashton Blackwood, Haylee Blackwood and Hannah Blackwood, all of Wayne; and many other relatives and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to the "Tommie Jo Hobson Memorial Fund" at the Pauls Valley National Bank, P. O. Box 420, Pauls Valley, Ok. 73075.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Joel Downing. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
