"Red" Hibbert

Robert Kenneth "Red" Hibbert, of Pauls Valley was born
November 25, 1923 in Ralston, Oklahoma to Clyde and Maude Luke Hibbert. He
passed away October 15, 2005 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 81
years.
Red served in the 45th Infantry in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of
World War II and Korea. He and Ila Mae Riley were married in Tulsa,
Oklahoma on December 8, 1961. He lived in Pauls Valley since 1967, moving
from Spencer, Oklahoma.
Red was a member of Beaty Baptist Church, the IDOF and Elk Lodge. He was a
retired concrete finisher and owned and operated his farm. He was very
active in cutting and baling hay. Red had previously worked for Gearhart
Wire Line Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Maude Hibbert; his wife,
Ila Mae Hibbert; sister, Geraldine Shea and 4 brothers, R. L. Hibbert,
Clyde Hibbert, Jr., Jack Hibbert and Charles Hibbert.
Surviving family include his 4 daughters, Teresa Baker and her husband,
Kent of Tuttle; Eva Deaton and her husband, Ray of Madill; Debbie
Cunningham & her husband Stephen of Pauls Valley; and Delinda Mace & her
husband, Allen of Pueblo, Co.; 2 sons, Kenneth Hibbert of Pauls Valley;
and Bob Hibbert & his wife, Paula of Flint, Texas; 3 sisters, Loretta
Penifold of Sand Springs; Ruth Bone of Bartlesville; and Lucille Wright of
Delta, Co.; 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, special friend,
Evelyn Wallace of Pauls Valley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm at
Beaty Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Finis Steelman. Burial will be at
Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
