In Loving Memory Of
Elsie Hester
Elsie Hester, of Pauls Valley, was born September 13,
1908 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Charles and Florence (Pruitt) Seymour.
She passed away December 21, 2007 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age
of 99 years.
Elsie was the former owner of Hester's Restaurant in downtown Pauls
Valley. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and has made
Pauls Valley her home all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stroud E. Hester
on November 12, 1977; a son, Mark H. Webb, Jr. on March 26, 1983; her
daughter-in-law, Carolee Webb on September 4, 1987; and her sister, Alta
Mae Allred on January 15, 1957.
Surviving family include one granddaughter; two grandsons; one niece,
Lou Grubbs of Ft. Worth, Texas; a great-niece, Debbie Arthur of Pauls
Valley; great-nephew, Bill Ponder of Colleyville, Texas; four
great-great-nephews, Dakota and Jesse Arthur of Pauls Valley; and
Geoffrey and Gregory Ponder of Colleyville, Texas; a half-brother,
Charles Seymour of Oklahoma City; and a cousin, Iris Seymour of Pauls
Valley.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007 at
2:30 pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Dr. Robert J. Kanary.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
