In Loving Memory Of
Ouida Heitman

Ouida Heitman passed away Sunday morning, June 3, 2007,
in Pauls Valley, OK. She was born May 4, 1920, in Meridian, MS, to
Calvin Lamar and Molly Easterling McDonald. Memorial Funeral Services
will be 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Stufflebean Chapel of
Remembrance with Rev. Allen Carson and Rev. Spencer DeBurgh officiating.
Interment will be in Meridian, Mississippi under the direction of the
James F. Webb Funeral Home.
On January 4, 1942 Ouida McDonald and Wallace H. Heitman were married in
Meridian, Mississippi.
She retired from her job as Training Specialist at Snow Hall, Fort Sill,
in 1984. A long-time resident of Lawton, OK, Mrs. Heitman lived the last
13 years in Pauls Valley.
She is survived by her two daughters, Gail DeBurgh and her husband Rick,
Grenada Hills, California, and Joy Keast, Pauls Valley. Also surviving
are her sister Evelyn McCartney; her brother Calvin Lamar McDonald, Jr.,
and his wife Betty, and her sister Mary Katharine Evans, all of
Meridian, Mississippi.
She leaves behind grandchildren, Kelly and husband Michael Damour, North
Augusta, South Carolina; Spencer and wife Amy DeBurgh, Racine,
Wisconsin; Katharine and husband Allen Carson, Coweta, Oklahoma; Wally
and wife Miranda DeBurgh, Florence, Kentucky; and Katy DeBurgh,
Sacramento, California. She is survived by seven great grandchildren and
a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of forty years,
Major Wallace H. Heitman.
Mrs. Heitman was a life master contract bridge player, soloist for the
Shubert Music Club, and member of Central Baptist Church in Lawton
Oklahoma. Before moving to Oklahoma she and her family lived in
Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Hawaii.
Services are under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home
in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.. |
